CAPE CORAL, Fla. (December 2007) – A new, state-of-the-art fuel dock is now open at Tarpon Point Marina in Cape Coral announced Harbormaster Dennis Rainey.
The $400,000 facility includes a new pump station offering Shell fuel, restrooms and ship’s store which offers bait, tackle, gear and other boating supplies.
“Tarpon Point Marina has invested in making our facilities some of the nicest in the area,” said Rainey. “The new, faster pump plus our convenient location right on the Caloosahatchee River, plus our competitive pricing add up to making the marina is a welcome stop on any boaters itinerary.”
The marina, which is located three miles from the Gulf of Mexico, is open to the public and offers charter trips, boat rentals, maintenance services, eco-tours, and back-bay and tarpon fishing guided trips.
Additionally, Tarpon Point Marina has premium dock slips available for rent. Slip rates include water, pump-outs and fuel discounts, as well as the amenities of Tarpon Point Marina, including the swimming pool, Ship’s store, Captain’s Lounge and Social Pavilion.
The marina is part of Tarpon Point Marina, a Grosse Pointe Development community, offering coach homes, luxury, single-family homes and high-rise and mid-rise condominiums with waterfront access.
